Send a postcard to the
Arizona Corporation Commission and tell them…
We'll mail postcards with your photo and message to your elected officials at the Arizona Corporation Commission — for free.
Arizona's existing renewable energy goals are out-dated and should be increased. We are asking the Arizona Corporation Commission to set a new goal of 50% renewable energy by 2030. We are also asking commissioners to include rooftop solar customers in the state's renewable energy goals.
The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) sets Arizona’s renewable energy goals and regulates the state’s investor-owned monopoly utility companies, like APS and TEP. The ACC is made up of five commissioners, elected in statewide races.
The Arizona Corporation Commission is currently considering whether to set new renewable energy goals. In order for them to act, we need to show that Arizonans care about expanding the use of solar energy!
A picture is worth a 1,000 words. We want lawmakers to see — and hold in their hands — thousands of photos that show why solar power is important to the people and communities they represent.
Nothing! It's free. All you have to do is select a photo, type a short message describing why solar is important to you, and tell us your address (so we can add it to the postcard). We do the rest.
Use a photo you already have, take a new photo with your phone, or select one from our list of solar installations.
The best photos include both you and your solar installation. Pictures of real people make the biggest impact with legislators.
Write your own slogan, or select from our list of popular options.
Tell the commissioners why you love your solar, why solar is important to you, and what you want them to do to support solar.
With your address, we'll can put a return address on the postcard. We'll mail your postcard to each commissioners.
Check your postcard for accuracy and take a look at the lawmakers who will receive your postcard. If everything looks good, approve your postcard.
Solar United Neighbors helps people go solar, join together, and fight for their energy rights. Together we're building a modern, clean energy system with rooftop solar as the cornerstone.
